V-volitional

Volitional form

Group I: change the vowel before ます to /o/ + う (かきます→かこう). Group II: add よう (たべます→たべよう). Group III: します→しよう, 来きます→こよう.

V-volitional と思おもっています

Ongoing intention (〜と思っています)

Volitional + と思おもっています expresses a plan formed earlier that continues now: 週しゅう末まつは海うみへ行いこうと思おもっています. Use と思おもいます for a decision just made.

Firm intention (つもりです)
